In August 2020, the Cima Fire burnt one of the densest populations of Yucca brevifolia (Joshua tree) in the Mojave.

I flew my drone over the burn area yesterday.

The left side of the road was burnt. The right side of the road was spared damage.

Even 4+ years later the damage is still visible.
