I don’t think I’ve cried harder at a game or loved it as much as I love Transistor. My wife (then girlfriend) @skittzi.bsky.social introduced me to it and so a fee months later, I found a secondhand box set and put her engagement ring where Red’s is. She said yes💜
Very cool game, probably my fav story ya’ll have done so far.
Since we’re dropping fan tributes, here’s a short story I wrote exploring some theoretical backstory.
I played this game with my so a bit before it got out. We love it to death, we cried at the end. It's an amazing game with a lot of good memories attached to it. Thank you for creating such masterpiece.
This game is my personal GOAT. The soundtrack is literally the only album I've ever sat down and listened to just for the sake of listening. It holds a special place in my heart.
Korb and Barrett's work was just phenomenal. The soundtrack hasn't left my playlists since release. The rendition of Paper Boats for the 10th anniversary concert is the highlight of the entire show.
Still my personal favorite of your releases.
Still the centerpiece poster above my gaming TV.
Still my theme of choice on my PS4.
Still gutted that I somehow completely missed the LRG physical releases.
And absolutely still one of the game soundtracks I often, randomly, play on repeat.
❤️
It's been a hot minute. Solid game. I really enjoyed it. Well, enough to plat it yeeears ago. If I rebought it on Steam, its probs time to install and replay it. I'll have to buy Hades 1/2 too. I've been missing out 😊
One of if not THE most beautiful game I've ever played. Still got a screenshot as my phone background and still occasionally listen to the music. This is the game that made me a Supergiant Games fan.
This was actually featured in one of my college's video games as media humanties courses back in 2015. I already had it because Supergiant is a must-buy for me, but I loved hearing about other player's takes on it.
The loadout system and how it's tied into narrative rewards still weighs on my mind years after the fact. So many good ideas packed into a compact frame.
Transistor is one of the few games I've gone out of my way to 100% and holds a very dear place in both my heart and my partner's.
When we one day get married we want Paper Boats from the OST as one of our wedding songs.
transistor is one of my favorite games of all time and it is so dear to me. thank you guys for making such an amazing game <3 ashley's voice is beautiful and i think about the music all the time
Transistor was the first Supergiant game I ever played and the soundtrack lives rent-free in my brain. I only wish the game allowed you to explore its world more in non-combat ways cos it took me a while to understand the setting.
But then again maybe that feeling the game still evokes in me of being on an island surrounded by nothingness, like the world is disintegrating around you was intentional.
It was my 2nd of only 4 games where I got a platinum and was probably my favorite to actually get. Such a fun and stylish game. Still throw on the soundtrack every few months.
I wish more people still talked about these older games. Transistor is still among my all time favorites, I think most people who love Hades and haven't checked it out yet would feel similarly.
11 years ago today, I finished school, came home, and started and finished playing Transistor in one sitting over the evening; this game taught me that video games absolutely can be an art form, and its story and worldbuilding and characters and music keep inspiring me to this day; kudos to you all!

Looking forward to your next, non-roguelike game. Though, I have a feeling I'm going to be waiting a long time.
Congratulations and thank you.

You guys cooked so much the leftovers could feed a small city.
Transcendent, brilliant, and hauntingly beautiful work.

Truly a phenomenal game
It's still one of the best game experiences I've ever played and I love Pyre, Hades 1&2 just as much.
