After the airing of Episode Five of ‘The Daleks Masterplan’, the BBC received a call to find out how they did some of the effects; so they could be used in an upcoming Sci-Fi film.

People like this will watch Classic Who (which is what they always mean) and go "haha it looks so shit" which is like, really disrespectful to hard work. This "shit" was hundreds of hours of effort at a time when television was still in its infancy. It is not "shit".
