"Separating from European integration was a mistake, so let's separate from an even longer-lasting, more integrated union and rejoin the EU, despite the fact that Scotland would be vetoed, it'll be fine!"
Because not all nationalism is based on ethnicity and exceptionalism. Scotland's is civic, based on freedom, tolerance, equality, and individual rights. Scotland has different values, wants to rejoin the EU and wants control of its economy.
Oh dear, I guess you don't follow Scottish politics. If you did you wouldn't make such remarks. Amd who is 'all'? England/WM particularly said it doesn’t like or want immigrants, like US Republicans. It defines Englishness according to ethnicity and increasingly colour.
Why would any self respecting Scot want to stay in the UK. With 14 years of conservative chaos, labour just a lighter shade of blue and Reform making strides to form a gov at the next election. No UK party with the guts to get us back in the single market & CU. What is the point of being in the UK?
