Nothing dramatic happens in this trail-cam clip, captured recently on one of the streams that flows off Monarch Pass. Yet it’s among my all-time favorites — for its lighting, its composition, and of course the subtle beauty and grace of the beaver herself, perfectly at home in her aquatic milieu.
