Totally agree with this. Also, content is a good umbrella term that can describe quests, dialogue, ambient events, encounters, etc. Everything that you use systems to make is content.

the only context in which i have tolerance for the word "content" is when talking about making stuff to go in video games. in my head, that's "content" as in "contents" as in "table of". like, yeah, that's the stuff that you put in the video game to fill it up. naturally. that's what that's called.
