Sadly non-profits and charities will soon crumble, American ones at least. Their lifeblood has been cut off vis a vis USAID, and now the FBI is criminalising any that received an environmental grant. They just froze Habitat for Humanity's accounts. Clearly showing humanity itself is criminal.

I like worker owned coops! But in general, I don't think looking for a specific org type or structure is the right lens. I think what we should be thinking about is distribution of power — which includes but is not limited to wealth. The more it concentrates, the more it corrupts
