Wasn't Modi banned from entering the UK before he was elected as PM of India? Wasn't the ban due to Modi's complicity of butchering 2000 Muslims in his home state of Gujarat ?

Excellent. Does that mean UK businesses can exploit more desperate, even cheaper foreign labour than we had when in the EU?

How will India’s tariffs of UK spirits at 75% & British cars at 10% free trade?
It is a trade deal with reduced tariffs, not free of tariffs.

…and listening to the news reports they slipped in the word “eventually” right at the end.

There is no agreement for tariff free trade now or eventually.
The spirits tariff will reduce to 40% in a decade - no further
The 10% agreement on cars will not reduce. And anyway it is subject to a limit on the number of cars

Surely the king of business would have landed a deal for the US first? Particularly given he shares Modi's fondness for ethno-religious fascism.
