None of these economies are actually fine when the number of people struggling remains what it is. That said, Biden's economy was the best in the world in rebounding after COVID and there's no doubt about that. And he left DJT a very solid economic hand in January 2025.

Recessions only "favor the rich" in the sense that rich people have the resources to deal with having income sources cut off. The poor who can't get a job are devastated. Otherwise your average Joe who manages to keep their job but isn't worried about the stock market sees a lot less stress.
