I feel bad saying this but just not interested in this reboot. What kept XF going all those years was the relationship. That’s what made it special & kept the people invested long term. Not getting that tanked S9 & the revival. XF without those 2 is just any other sci fi show. I wish him well but 🤷🏼‍♀️ - ThreadSky

I'm interested to see how much of the audience is OG vs newbies & if the newbies offset the OGs who aren't interested. which I totally get! Scully & Mulder together were lightning in a bottle & I don't expect lightning to strike twice. but I still like the basic concept, esp w Coogler in the mix

also, I don't think there's any reason to feel bad about not being interested. you can like the parts you like without being committed to all of it (though the interwebs may beg to differ lol)

For sure! I think Coogler is great and want him to do well, just with something else 😂 imagining what he could have done with a revival with the characters instead of a reboot with new. And who knows it may never get off the ground. Like that comedy thing from a few years back.

totally get it. tbh I was surprised I got excited when I read the article! but I would LOVE to have seen what he'd have done w the revival
