He would never have wanted it, not at all, but I think he deserves to be seen as a coauthor of many of his father’s posthumous works.
Her influence mattered deeply. You needed Beren *and* Luthien.

And just to clarify in case I was muddled in my reasoning; this is definitely not about gatekeeping.
You’re not a *better* fan for doing any of this. Rather, it’s just useful as an exercise to remember these are constructed works that didn’t pop out of the ground fully formed.
I love seeing how he developed and changed the world over time.
A series like this, or DA, is going to evolve over time & new lore will be discovered as ideas solidify. I find that exciting!
