Ironically, I believe this story, in different forms, is one which is common to all cultures. Correct me if I'm wrong. When we are about to hand over the atomic bomb codes to a fascist lunatic, it is no wonder, is it?
Not saying the Bible speaks literal truth or anything, I just don't know about this one specifically. Like, if this were true, fire hoses would be a little bit more destructive to the buildings they're being used on*
I actually got booted from Sunday school for something similar. They were talking about the size of heaven from some bible passage and I figured out that from past world population each soul there would only get 2 square feet. They asked my grandmother to never bring me back. 🤷
I don't know about the size of our souls lol but Tzu, or some Buddhist master, when asked how there could be millions of angels regularly attending the Buddha's discourses said: You can fit 4 angels per atom. I hope this helps figuring out how many can fit on top of a needle and your present concern
it's actually spelled out in Revelations 22. And although looking at my calculations I was off by quite a bit (I was 7), it's still a finite number. And it wasn't my teacher that asked us to leave, it was the pastor.

The Church leaders like it.
Is this uncommon?

Because, you know... carnivores.
The teacher didn't like that, and told me not to question it. And that was the first step in me realizing it was all bullshit.
What size did they say it was?
No wonder the teacher couldn't respond, she couldn't imagine a bigger box
Ha ha aside I remember when kids were encouraged to ask questions and thought provoking takes
