As previously stated, these episodes are really good and it was neat to watch them in a theater a month before release. But I do wish they came packaged better, both in terms of the actual structure (the 3-episode arc stops SHORT) and presentation (no OP/ED, for example). - ThreadSky

I know what you mean. I didn't see the First Encounter movie, but when I was watching the show I thought the episode that ended on was kind of an odd cliff hanger. I thought for sure they'd structure it so it would run to the end of the Turbo Granny bit, which seemed like the obvious ending point

Seeing this on Tuesday and considering that already I'm being gently let down by them picking a, from what I've been able to listen to, not as good OP as the one by Creepy Nuts, not being able to hear it in this like you could for that OP in the first movie is a big let down

IMO it's still worth seeing on a huge screen with a crowd, but I'd like them to do better.

also frankly, these are easy for me when they're AMC A-list eligible, because I have a subscription. Yes, I'm paying $25/month, but it doesn't "feel" expensive when I'm seeing a movie or two or three a week

our local theater sometimes does $6 Tuesdays which is why I'm seeing it then, this movie happens to release on one of those!! If we had a theater that carried all the anime movies (I'm STILL salty we never got Look Back here) I would gladly invest in one of those membership services...

I get that the lack of OP/ED might be a music rights issue, but it would have been nice to cap it at the end with a "this season on DanDaDan..." teaser
