I'm with Finch on this one, there's no lineup change that fixes this. They created a roster that doesn't have a lot of offensive creators, and banked on getting one more good season out of Mike. I don't know how anyone can expect better from a team that literally does not have an NBA caliber PG.

I also think people can question moves that coaches (not just Coach Finch) make without acting like they have all the answers and that the coach should be fired.

I’m with Finch. It’s rare to see a head coach so hung out to dry by an organization. Every player did their off season work with the idea that KAT would be on the roster.

For example, Jaden was working on handles and slashing because KAT was going to space the floor.

It must be said that Finch has done a very poor job this season. From the micro (2, two!, end of game *embarrassing ATOs on each end vs Miami on our home court, just one example) to the Macro (stubborn insistence on not playing our best lineups and mothballing young, athletic players).

Both can be true.The roster assembly is difficult.The frustration with Finch is in his unwillingness to play more of the bench and the lack of offensive structure, combinations on the floor, letting runs go too long without calling t/o, and the terrible plays starting a quarter or after a timeout

Certainly agree, but where Finch deserves some heat is how little he has played Dillingham, Shannon Jr, Garza, and Minott. Issues have been the same for the first 34 games…gotta be willing to try more things out and see what sticks/works

I think it’s more fair to be critical of TC on this one. I’m not sure there is much Finchy could do to make this roster work. The Randle trade has absolutely tanked this team in every way imaginable so far. The Rudy extension is also starting to look worse and worse by the week.
