My son and I spotted a red tailed hawk on a stop sign…soaking wet.

He wondered if she/he was ever spotted on your cam. I tried to explain hawks like catching and eating prey, but he seems to think they are opportunistic eaters.

I gave him $1 for his big word and theory…🦅🤔

…and I have no clue.

I've seen them occasionally in a tree but there's a highway nearby and I see them there all the time.

My husband and I live walking distance from Spring Valley nature center in Schaumburg we go almost every weekend. Last week we saw some tiny woodpeckers do you know what they are.

I used to have a thistle sock. I had so many colors of visitors. Our apartment complex made everyone get rid of feeders, because of other wildlife issues. So I bought a birdbath.
