Watching fledglings feed is hilarious. They follow their parents around, fluffing their feathers and opening their mouths. I saw one underneath my holly the other day, taking a dirt bath while waiting for Daddy to come back with food.

I have a house sparrow that lives on my back porch. She has lived there for years. Always on the same spot, year round. She trusts me and I trust her. I can be out there and she will come in to her spot and she isn’t afraid of me. She has lived there for about 3 years now.
