Quite envious…I love chickens, but my husband’s maternal grandfather was a chicken farmer in Santa Rosa, California…he says no chickens and has said so for years…but I keep working on him!!!
More chickens! This is an older photo, many of these sweeties are no longer around.
This was a day when I let them wander in my yard and pick weeds and bugs from the flower beds.
Hey Joyce, my daughter got six chicks 5 weeks ago. We are having the most dear experiences feeding, bonding, and hoping they don't poop while trying to pull my hair out. We are totally thrilled. We wound up witj one, we call her sizzors, as her beak is misformed. We have been feeding her by hand
I enjoyed your insight on bird flu on your Sisters in Law podcast. Sounds like you have that under control. It's good to know something, somewhere, is under control. Good luck and thank you.
Been helping a Geese family. Mom, dad, 6 babies.
They sorta appeared in an area our condo complex shares with another that has ponds and islands
They have now become almost as big as parents with feathers, as soon as mom & dad get refeathered after molting - they will fly away
I'll be sad AND glad

I just love your chickens. What a beautiful variety.

They’re about three months old now.
