I think Scottish Independence would be progressive in that it breaks up the reactionary British State, dethroning it from its ex-imperial global pretensions that weigh heavily on its workers eg warfare not welfare. But Ire26 is a cautionary tale. Dublin is completely in hock to US monopolists.

I agree totally with your first point. But I’m not sure arguing that the referendum- a decade ago now- was actually won by the independence side will help win “hearts and minds”. What it does do for me is say that 2014 was conducted on a false premise which could be grounds for a re-run.
