I said this a few months ago but I’d rather be the second Ace team than the first. He feels like the classic second contract / team guy. Once it’s obvious his handle / self creation / decision making / passing isn’t good enough to be a NBA star and he becomes more of a role player.

Similar concerns about Kon (athleticism) and VJ (handle / pull up shooting) but I think they can fit different roles while those things iron themselves out. Ace and his team will want him to be a star out the gate and it could be ugly.

yeah we're on the same page. i think he'll have to get humbled and then we'll see if he's ready to accept a career as a role player.

i really, really struggle to see the case for him as a star unless he's just a nuclear shooter.
