I'm aware of this. But now when *Democrats* (even correctly!) complain when Trump's administration starts prosecuting opponents, people will look at it and go "everyone always says it's all lawfare, who cares about this" rather than thinking "damn, this is bad, Trump's persecuting his enemies!"
