FYI criticizing Israel is not antisemitic, but supporting Israel only because you’re waiting for the Rapture to happen so all the Jews burn in Hell is.

Yup, only reason that evangelicals support Israel.
I was raised by fire breathing southern baptists. My grandma's friends went on 'pilgrimage' to Isreal every year, but wouldn't talk to any of the Jewish community around us...
It seems at this point, only the Christians waiting for the rapture so the Jews burn in hell, are going to be the ones that actually end up burning in hell. It is amazing to see people thrive on & be fueled by hatred. It’s too much to wrap my head around sometimes.
And if they think we’re picking up after them after they get raptured out of their clothes up to naked Christian heaven then they have another thing coming. Either stay naked, or explain your littering to God when you see them. We’re going to have enough to worry about.
I am of Hungarian descent. Can you imagine if they said you automatically hate Hungarians if you don't support its government? I guess I hate myself then? Ludicrous.
In general I agree. But since the assassination of Rabin, the Israeli left has been as craven as the US democrats: an “opposition” that rubber stamps the behavior of tyrants.
I didn’t vote for Trump, but as an American, I accept the hate other countries have for the US. It’s up to us, as Americans to be open to that criticism and make our voices heard in opposition to the Trump regime. Israelis need to protest Netanyahu loudly and more often.
Don't play the billionaires game BOYCOTT BOYCOTT ITS WORKING SHUT THEM DOWN TRUMP LOST THEM BILLIONS OF $ DO NOT LET UP. ELON IS CRYING. AMAZON KARMA IS COMING. THANK YOU EUROPE & CANADA WE THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA. billionaires FAFO. FINISH ELON. MOVE ON TO AMAZON THE FREE WORLD DO YOUR PART.
because that talking point is exactly where people want to move the goalposts. Blaming one person for bad policies when those policies were in place before the person and paved the way for that person is where your analogy actually holds up. The system paved the way for the terrible leader.
I didn't mean just Netanyahu, I meant his whole administration and their supporters, including Trump. My point is only that not every Israeli, Jewish or not, is for this horrific genocide. Trump was actually the one who gave Netanyahu the go ahead to strike Gaza.
That’s literally what the OP is saying. Israel’s political leadership is what is fully open to criticism. If you think any government is above or immune to criticism, you’re allowing for dictatorships to take hold.
I believe Netanyahu belongs in jail. And I believe the “settlers” who steal Palestinian homes do too. But I also believe Israel has a right and a duty to defend itself against terrorists.
I tried to explain this to a young Jewish co worker who moved to America from Israel. He seemed to think evangelicals were allies, sorry buddy they def are not your friend

Trump is back in power.
Both countries can do way more.
