I mean... Somebody tried really hard to circumvent some Powers That Be to tell the fans they are not crazy.
Every interview with the creatives behind the camera tells me they were very deliberate with what they did, why would they "miss" all of this.

I still Miss Robbie Thompson. He was on our side 😠that's why I was really excited when the Winchester's came out because he was the showrunner / head writer. I feel like we would have gotten Castiel in season 2. At least I hope we would have
