i’ve yet to make enough money that saving 10% in a roth ira has even gotten close to maxing out, so i guess i don’t see the benefit of a 401k with higher fees than a third party ira
Not sure I follow. It’s tax free or tax deferred investment savings. Being short of the irs max isn’t a reason to not do it, I’ll grow over time even if you only put 5-7% away yoy
You get the same savings or deferred savings on a traditional ira or roth. So he’s right for now and can worry about it later when he has a higher income due to either overtime or running the place.
