Love Homer Price but One Morning in Maine will always be my fav Robert McCloskey book. First book I ever checked out of the Chicago Public Library as a child.
All of Robert McCloskey's books are great. Were some of them banned? I can't imagine why...
I do remember the chapter of Homer Price or Centerburg Tales about Super-Duper -- whose costume was pretty much identical to Superman's. I suspect that would engender a lawsuit today.
