I remember working at Boeing in the 70's. We had a contract proposal which resulted in a strike, in the Kingdome, & people were booing & throwing paper planes, etc...a bit childish...
But management was like "WE'LL SHOW YOU!" And they did.

They outsourced as much as possible.😒

And this is where government comes in because by doing that, we taught our competitors how to build planes. And the rest, even military technology. Outsourcing sensitive stuff should NOT be allowed. They have spies for that...all that James Bond stuff. Make 'em at least work for it...🤣

FDR was a very decent and compassionate fellow. Probably suffering from polio had something to do with that, a man who suffers has compassion for others who suffer. A man like Trump has zero compassion for others. All ego and privilege. Probably never had to wipe his own keister.
