Greenland--really worth reading.

If the U.S. military is given direct orders to seize Greenland—pull down another nation’s flag, and then claim the ground in the name of the United States—every senior commander has a moral obligation to refuse to accept or support such a command.

Well just like when the British hauled on down to the Falkland Islands/Malvinas and dealt with the Argentina junta's invasion, Denmark/NATO are likely to do the same . . . . and it won't be pretty.

Civilians and soldiers on both sides will pay the price of Trump's egotistical stupidity.

I'm not sure if everyone noticed, but just to be sure (so there's not another war or anything): technically, Greenland is a territory of the European Union.

I'm not wholly surprised. Anything that looks like opposition to some oppressive measure Trump wants to take is met with unmitigated rage and stupidity. And, she's a woman in a position of power and that, too, is unacceptable in this repressive regime. She is also more capable than Vance.

Honestly, I am not qualified to speak on Greenland except to say Trump's unbridled greed for land is wrong, and I do not support it. If you want to discuss the influence of Renaissance tragedy on the Victorian stage or how speculative fiction critiques contemporary social issues, I might be helpful.

I am wary of opining too much on subjects I have little to no expertise in. I, however, do think every American citizen has a responsibility to say they oppose Trump's plans for conquest and his ongoing human rights violations. I am extremely worried about students and faculty and immigrants.
