did not feel it. idk. I'm not falling out of the fandom or anything. I love the friends I've made, this isn't changing, but I feel I go to a con, get in suit, lumber around and not do much of anything for 2-3 hours, lather, rinse, repeat.

I still go for friends. That wont change.

But like, I'd almost rather just, travel, to see these friends than spend money on expensive hotels I can't even guarantee a close bed without rolling a nat 20 on a luck stat or spending exorbitant amounts of money for the highest level badge so bots don't eat the close hotels on.

I'm still gonna have fun at AC. This won't change. I still am gonna love to see all y'all, but I think I might have to dial it back and reconsider my decisions for a little bit. I think 1-2 a year over the old 4-5 is gonna be more likely moving forward.

I get you totally. We have dialed it back to two cons . And even then i am exhausted at the end. I truly enjoy more smaller gatherings as of late . The expenses is also a toll. I look forward to seeing you there.

Yeah, it's sounding like you're burning out on huge social events and would rather just spend time with your friend circle more. And that's fine; you've done so much con stuff I'm not surprised the commitment's starting to wear a little.

Honestly, if I had known *major life events* would be going on right now, I would have dropped AC. There's way too much going on, so I'm not sure how much of a break it's going to be for me. Especially after losing that one panel...I'm really sorry about it, you'll just have to come see me...
