That has to stop! I was branded as βwokeβ and even βhereticβ by some for speaking out about it when I was a pastor. For all who donβt think like this, those who do can make enough trouble to take over entire congregations and oust pastors.

Iβm so over the Christians attacking others and then claiming theyβre being persecuted. Iβm a gay man and was catholic for years. Iβm over the pearl clutching while they spread their hate under the guise of Jesus. Shame on them.
We build bridges. I like to imagine one of those clean anime sacred shields surrounded each church grounds. The bridge is always open, yet separate.πΊπ²π»π¦
THIS is one of the MOST serious and egregious mistakes made so far.
If ANY AMMENDMENT needs retooling is the βfreedom of religionβ and its association with ANY branch of Gov
Evangelicals have proven to be treasonous leaches, they cannot be allowed to participate in a system they want to DESTROY!
The problem is that churches have got involved in politics telling people who to vote for or not to vote for, with many losing all connection with the original intent of their religion (being good to others, feeding the poor healing the sick etc.)
Not really "the state" that signifies a continuity of control and affiliation between different political viewpoints, instead churches seem to be drawn to one side of the political isle and their views get more extreme as their influence waxes and wanes.
The church is being used as a way to win political arguments.
There have been liberals that have done this in the past, we celebrate one of them on Monday and ending slavery was very much entwined with religion so itβs not like itβs always gone one way.
Can anybody on this site show me where it says in the Constitution about the wall of separation? You won't find it. Its not there. It's not the 1A either. Sorry. Not in there. Zip. Nada.
Oh! Then why were you getting so worked up over a wall, dear? I could have just known you were wrong from the onset. Goodness me, now youβve wasted both of our time.

This is a problem that is older than print - claims of divine sanction are nothing new.
The state takes over the church so that the church takes over the state.

I don't want to live a theocracy.
And we already had one in America.... Under the Puritans, and they had heinous witch trials.
