Maybe this is naive but I think it's better as a strategic (let alone moral) matter to make a public stand on principle as opposed to holding your breath on every issue until David Shor goes on a podcast and tells you what to do

On the question of political expediency, we have different lens. I assumed he advocated for Romero because it happened in San Diego/CA.
