I didn't know they'd made a new Karate Kid. I suppose I felt off. I really liked the films when I was wee but always thought Cobra Kai looked like the kind of show your uncle would recommend at a family funeral.

Cobra Kai was genuinely far better than it had any right to be for a couple of seasons, before settling into being about as daft as you’d expect it to be. But it still mostly managed a baseline of entertaining.
