One of the sad duties of historians of fascism is to constantly remind the world that the WHOLE APPEAL of fascism to a mass audience was “More for you, less for Them”. Who “They” were could be manipulated as required.

Important to note that according to Lorimer the early rhetoric of the Nazis emphasised workers’ rights as a central platform, alongside opposing the social democrats and expelling the Jews. Of course workers’ rights later ignored.
