While sexual abuse scandal after sexual abuse scandal is revealed in RC institutions, sexual abuse is never said by the media to be a systematic problem in Catholicism. Can you imagine the reaction if it was always Muslim clerics doing this?

Emmaus was an institution. I know very pro republican (in the laic tradition) french peo who were convinced he was the real deal. The scandal is incredibly damaging to the church.
