I struggled with that when I was younger, because I couldn't remember if the crocodile ate in order or the bigger number first.

Sometimes my brain short-circuits and those symbols lose their meaning, so I have to think about something else, like a cartoon mouth, to reset the meaning. But that's just me

This isn't going to help you but in Icelandic, right is Hægri, first two letters Hæ are said like Hi in English.

And I shake people's hands with my right hand, so I say Hi with my Hægri hand.

I think "left" and "right" are bourgeois concepts that we need to do away with in order to advance humanity
