no dog in this fight - but literally last summer Target got boycotted by MAGA because they stuck to their guns and kept the LGBTQ merch and displays. I'm obviously sad they've caved, but I don't think Target is some particular evil empire company..

My daughter works @ Target. Corporate made awful decisions the last few years but the individual stores are not on board with it. Her coworkers are diverse & a very close group. Last year they had people threatening them over the LGBTQ merch. It will be sad to see these people lose their jobs 😞

100%. Target was "targeted" by MAGA last year over an innocuous "Gay Pride" themed section of their vast stores.. Target stood firm on that.

I feel sorry for the people who work for these companies. Most can't just go get another job when most of these big retailers are going to suffer the same fate. They are the innocent victims here. Her husband works for USPS so 🙄🙄🙄. Could be hard times ahead.

100% - Target was actually on the frontline 18 months ago - they didn't pick the fight - but they stuck it out.. They didn't change - the Federal government did - and they employ 440,000 people.. so I'm not surprised they are ducking and covering to a degree..
