Julio has the bases loaded (w/ 1 out) & an opportunity for the M’s to get back into this game. He strikes out. We’ve seen this multiple times this season (& last season). It seems like every time he takes a pitch 0-0, it is a fastball down the middle, and every time he swings 0-0, it is a ball out of the zone.

He’s been SO good all season, it’s just frustrating to see him overthink these situations and try to be a hero. We just needed a bloop! I feel for him.

Seems as though a lot of his successful ABs are w/ no runners on, or setting up RISP for Cal, Randy & sometimes Tellez to contribute. Which is great, don’t get me wrong. However when he needs that clutch hit, he’s not executing as he should.

I said that too. He'd put too much pressure on himself & strike out, when all we needed was a solid single from him. I feel bad for him, he tries so hard to carry the team when he doesn't need to. He needs to go back to just having fun, he plays his best when he does.
