There’s one of these for basically every movie Quentin Tarantino ever made. I was watching Dirty Dozen with a friend and he was like “wow so all the good stuff in Inglorious Bastards came from this whole cloth, huh”
That's your opinion. I see many similarities between the two and others agree with me. You don't have to but I ain't arguing with anyone or telling them they're wrong.
I think I watched Lady snow blood like 15 years ago, around the time I dug into Kazuo Koike’s manga.
I totally notice the similarities, but I don’t think is a secret or anything, in Kill Bill they watch “shogun assassin” which is an adaptation of Koike’s most famous work, Lone wolf and cub.
Nah not a secret but that doesn't stop Tarantino fanboys from praising him like he did that all on his own bc he's so original lol and imo KB doesn't hold up to Lady Snowblood
Fanboys can suck a toe* who cares. I think is cool when an autor does something because they like someone else’s work and acknowledge it in the work itself (independent of it is good work or not). As long as you don’t do like Arafnosky with perfect blue, I’m OK.
I'm not being a snob?? Pulp Fiction + other Tarantino films have nothing to do with this meme. Lady Snowblood has nothing to do with Pulp Fiction or any non-Kill Bill movies 💀
