Israel threatened to raid the Madleen to prevent them from breaking the siege to deliver aid to the people in Gaza. On May 31, 2010 Israeli forces raided the Mavi Marmara killing 9 activists. Israel's impunity could easily give them a full pass to kill or imprison everyone aboard the Madleen.
