The suffering of First Nations from wildfires is ongoing and still hardly anyone outside of Indian Country gives a shit. Where is that community coming together that happened across the US and Canada for the LA fires?

As difficult as it is, the US is not functioning properly.
And most the days of the cali fires were before the fall of our democracy. Many Americans are trying to just survive. Not an excuse, just a possible explanation
well, the LA fires started in the US when we still had a functional govt. now our “president” is too busy using our military against us and stripping us of our rights. he’s much too busy to be bothered 😕 plus he’d say for the privilege of his help, canada must be annexed.
I'm in Niagara Falls where some evacuees are being housed. I'm getting clothing and supplies ready to donate to the Red Cross for them. We're here outside of Indian Country giving a shit.
Well you have to understand, everyone is currently too busy dealing with Bill 5 which would allow the government to take indigenous lands for environment destroying projects to deal with the current wildfire destroying the environment. Not much I can do but scream at vacationing politicians.
It’s old news. I was thinking the same thing earlier today and yesterday. Canada burning again, boring. Nobody is covering it like they did in years past. Like wtf?! I don’t know how this season is compared to previous, but it seems bigger, yet getting no coverage.
