Two of my family who were recently in the military are glad they are out. Having an inept management failure drunk in charge of their lives made neither of them happy. Yes, he is, but Americans seem so calm about it! He is a danger to the world, not just to America. Why can he not be stopped? On the whim of 50 craven cowardly old men senators, your country is in danger, & all I hear is "it was a fair election." It was helped by tech millions & misinformation.

I was in the service several years ago & was also a military wife for years. Glad I'm not in right now. I have a 27-year-old son who is currently in the Air Force in the IT dept. Not sure when he plans to get out (soon I hope), but I'm hoping his particular job will shield him from the worst of it.

Honestly, with people wondering if he'll turn the military inward, something that isn't legal, but could happen if they go along with it, I'd seriously be considering not renewing at my next opportunity, if I was still in. Not to mention politicizing the troops [re. trans people or whatever else].

Being a retired veteran, I have to say that this guy makes me sick thinking about what members of the military are going to have to endure. Women especially will have it hardest of all.

They were more concerned about being anti-DEI than actual qualifications during a very dangerous point in time, and we should NEVER forget that. I feel like we're the kids left in a hot car with the windows rolled up.
