Just because you don’t have a college education doesn’t mean you are stupid and can’t recognize a lie. As a statistic that’s fine. But college is financially out of reach for millions and contributes to that number. Affordable higher education is a true American problem.

It may be bc both my parents valued higher ed (Dad had degrees in engineering & physics & an MBA, Mom had her degree in mathematics in the 1950s/1960s), but all 3 of us kids got at least some college. I’ve a JD, brother is a literal rocket scientist, sister attended art school. We read. A lot.
