$128 for rabies shot, deworming medicine, and office visit in small USA town last August. The vet charges $150 for full blood test.

The vet business pays the salary. The vet we use is associated with the local veterinary university so it has both fully trained vets and students doing practice. One smaller one man vet we used in Hangzhou did charge 10 RMB (£1) consultation. Difference is they don't drive Ferraris.

Two cats in the U.S. would be at least $120 to just walk in the door for. It's easily another 180 for both for blood tests, & meds would be at least another 120 for both. Probably more now. These prices were from my rural, vet 5 yrs ago. Our country wants to price everyone out of good health.
