Was actually thumbing through some of these recently. Some of the links are broken but there are quite a few ones that are pretty interesting and readable!
For The Chicago Defender from 1905-1975 visit ProQuest’s Historic Newspapers: Black Newspapers, an online, searchable database of full-page and image articles of the Chicago Defender in pdf. ProQuest is a subscriber service available at many local libraries and academic institutions.
