I've never had a lab but those that have will never have another breed. I had a neighbor, like you lab rescue had several at her house, the transition process. they were the goofiest loving dogs.
Goldens are different colors from white to gold to reddish. It would depend on the parents. But I’ve heard them say that you can look at the color of a pup’s ears, and that will be close to their color as an adult.
