As one who grew up with horses, can confirm how true this is. Some people are afraid because of their size. Of course, size needs to be respected, but they’re the kindest most forgiving animals I’ve ever been around (or at least comparable to dogs).

Love horses❤️ And my 1st childhood exp was a scared horse not appropriate for kids, shit supervision, useless adults & I came pretty close to killed by that horse 😩 Was still completely obvious it was no fault of the horse and the horse was more intelligent, and evolved than the humans involved ❤️❤️

Oh. This makes me cry. I wish someone could bring a horse to my mom. I've never heard of it being done in our area. Sometimes in assisted living but not a nursing home. I would love to see her reaction. She had a very special bond with animals, especially horses. 🥹😞
