Non-human animals wouldn’t do it either. They are more ethical than we are.

In my state where wildfires have devastated millions upon millions of acres for nearly 20 years, terrorized residents and sent innocent creatures running for their lives, many put out tubs of water before evacuating. They know the animals will be exhausted, thirsty.
