Some churches in my liberalish town in Kansas also fly pride flags, usually with an "all are welcome here" message. It's sad that churches worshipping a man notoriously kind and welcoming have to advertise "we are not assholes."
Point #3 really sounds like a cheap horror movie where one wakes to find their intestines being made into cursed cute crocheted critters by an ancient witch they knocked over in a parking lot
