We need federal laws that allow each individual to sue any "news" outlet that intentionally broadcasts false information. Not class action but specific individuals. We are all harmed by this and we need recourse akin to the Texas Heartbeat Act that allows individuals to sue abortion seekers. Now!

The word that jumps out repeatedly is "rights." Boelter fervently believes in his own, but rejects the rights of others. Legal, publicly supported, Constitutionally protected rights.

I reject his right to kill in the name of Christianity, as the New Testament says Jesus will.

Southern pastors got in bed with the Republican Party around 1979. They focused on the sins of non-members, particularly concerning sexuality. They wanted to elect segregationists but couldn't say that outright anymore, so they decried abortions.
Fundamentalism spread nationwide.

Being raised as a preachers kid, I can tell you that true Christianity… Christianity that is based in Jesus’ teachings… is worlds apart from this man’s behavior. Sadly, far too many use the term to justify their hate, etc. It’s truly maddening!

It’s not Christianity that is the problem, it is the people; they are the ones committing the atrocities. They don’t feel comfortable admitting they have sociopathic tendencies, so they place a label on it, which appeases their feelings of guilt.
