I think it's safe to say this here without getting flamed, but PC ownership kinda sucks ass, lol. I've used Macs as my work computers for years and years and had almost zero issues, but every PC I've owned required endless tweaks and babying. I just wanna play games, not be a software engineer. π

Doesn't help that the increased prices of parts has kind of killed the cost benefit of PC gaming too
Why can't it just *work*, dude...
My work setup takes up a bunch of space, I cannot reasonably have a second desk and a tower and all that shit in my small house. I wanted something I could play games on and then put it away.
As for towers, I have mine on a shelf next to the table I use as a desk and even that barely works for my set up as is. So I feel ya there
Please do you, I'm foolishly venting on social media.
(a big part of this is I'm quite technical so I imagine I'm an outlier)
Troubleshooting other people's work computed on work time? πβ
Troubleshooting my own computer after work? π€¬β
It refuses to connect to bluetooth. No amount of work on it fixes that
They're convenient but they throw away most of the benefits of having a computer for it-
However, I would pick my Switch over PC any chance I could, mainly cause thereβs no maintenance.
That said, I appreciate that I can fix stuff myself. Unless it's a laptop, then just go apple it ain't worth the hassle LOL
I hope you get your box working, boss.
Yea I get it LOL
Ngl, I have come to appreciate my Mac in the time that I have had it. When you want to work, you just want it to work and not give you other distractions.
Would a steam deck work for you?
I completely understand preferring Macs, though. They really are much more straightforward. Both platforms do the job regardless.
