Removed the dumb-ass generated images from my blog. Was super impressed and got carried away with DALL-E 1.5 years ago, but realized it's just bad in every conceivable way.

yeah, when I redid my blog-platform, I removed all images except those that are vital to the article, and those I've tried to convert en masse to webp. Tried to reduce the carbon footprint as much as I can
hehe :D but I guess, it's still good to have one. When I started, I just bought an image, or later, I chose one from Pexels, Freepik.
But nowadays, I use my own images and just stamp the title on them. Very cheap, but for social media shares, I like to have an image. But without spending hours.
100%. I use LLMs for mermaids all the time. I write a long article and have all the information. I can just generate a timeline or an architecture overview based on my text.
But Mermaid to me is not a "real image". It's text, and it's part of Markdown, so I can update it easily.
