Both of my parents passed. Each received Social Security funds. Those funds that came in were returned following their passing. Checks just don’t start coming AFTER.
He and his "elite" team of tech bros, fresh out of puberty, were lost on COBOL code behind SSA databases. If he’d had just one team member over 30, they could have explained that government systems are often antiquated and don’t function like contemporary softwares.

And the same for my dad almost 20 yrs ago. He received one check before he died.
When a normal person looks at something complicated and new to them that they don't understand, they listen quietly and ask questions. Musk states that he assumes anything he doesn't understand is a trick. He's claiming to be monumentally stupid. I don't *care* if I believe him.
